A weekend in Zürich

Stayed an extra day after Microsoft AI Tour Zürich to actually see the city instead of a conference centre.

What I did

• Friday morning — coffee at a tiny place near Niederdorf, then a slow walk along the Limmat to the lake.
• Afternoon — Kunsthaus Zürich. The Giacometti room is worth a flight on its own.
• Evening — dinner with the MS Zürich team (the real reason to come back).
• Saturday — early lake walk before the city wakes up, then the IC train back to Berlin.

Notes for next time

• Stay near the lake, not the Hauptbahnhof. The walk into town is the city’s best feature.
• The 9-uhr-pass equivalent in CH is worth checking before you book point-to-point.
• Bring layers — even in late April, the water is honest with you.
