Why this site exists

I’ve been writing on LinkedIn for years and it’s been good to me. But the things I want to write next don’t fit on LinkedIn:

  • A 2,000-word teardown of an AI safety paper, with footnotes.
  • A travel post that’s mostly photos and a map.
  • A small book review with a star rating that I’ll add to over a decade.
  • Notes on AI infra that are useful in 2027 because they were written carefully in 2026.

LinkedIn rewards the dopamine half of writing. This site is for the compounding half.

What’s here

  • /blog — long-form notes on AI infra, Cloud, agents, engineering culture
  • /ai-safety — paper reviews, alignment + evals takes
  • /travel — Zürich home base, Berlin second home, anywhere with good trains
  • /travel — Zürich-based, train-curious
  • /projects — side projects and demos
  • /now — what I’m doing this month, in 60 seconds

The vibes

Dark mode, monospace where it belongs, no autoplay anything, no popups. Built with Hugo, hosted on Vercel, RSS for every section because RSS still wins.

What you can do

  • Read. Argue with me on LinkedIn.
  • Subscribe to the RSS feed.
  • Or just bookmark it and come back when you’re between meetings.
